--Cosplay at the Mall--

So there was a cosplay contest at a local mall yesterday.
Crazy shit lol. Shia, Skye and I went and debuted our first set of finished cosplay.
Shia was Ammy, I was Waka and Skye was Mello (gotta get the pics from Skye).
It was freakin' terrifying to walk through the mall to get to the store. We ran from the car into an exit and adjusted our costumes; I had to fix my pants and put on my shoes. Some people walked by and were like "..wtf?!".
I was soooo self-conscious cause the geta were rly rly loud on the tile in some places so EVERYONE was staring at us. I just stared at the ground half of the walk there.
People were surprisingly nice and genuinely interested. I was glad that no one was mean. xD; Lawl I walked past a group of girls our age and I heard them whisper "how does he walk in those?!" and something else about Skye. I was like YES I PASS.
The actual "contest" was pretty crappy though. I thought the store would make it..grander and at the front of the store to advertise.
There were like 12 people. We were all cramped in the back corner of the store and they wouldn't let us play trivia lol. The same four people kept getting to answer and got all the prizes. And everyone voted for their friends during the cosplay contest and we didn't know anyone so we didn't win. Skye told me later that I actually had one more vote than the guy counted and I lol'd.
There was a scary guy there that kept touching and hugging us and forced his number on me. Worst part is he's going to Acen and said he'd glomp us there. NOT a good idea with my Waka shoes. D:
We went to a Hot Topic next door and talked to some really nice girls that were anime fans. Turns out they're going to Acen too. And they liked Strawberry Panic. 8D
The people that worked there all freaked out when they saw my shoes lol.
It was all pretty fun. xDD
